realistic goal and it will be sustainable once it’s up and running. this is where gap or pcci cover becomes of powerful service to be able to provide. there’s a lot of expense around a school getting themselves ready for a large deployment. the schools infrastructure needs to be robust enough to handle hundreds (more likely thousands) of mobile devices all connected at the same time. also the teachers will need additional training, as well as an ongoing program to ensure they’re able to provide engaging lessons which exploit the full potential of the technology they’re invested in. this doesn’t leave much budget (if any) for purchasing the devices themselves, so for a school to still be able to move forward with their 1:1 vision they often turn to the parents for financial help. it’s cancellation insurance) was developed around the gap insurance model but refined through working closely with schools to understand their requirements. in my experience once schools are made aware of gap cover (though normally they’ll be aware of it already) they very rarely continue with their parent contribution scheme without having it as part of their solution. even the schools who at first
